What we collect

• Contact and order details — your name, email, delivery address and business name.
• Your design content — any logo, wording or images you upload for your card.
• Your Google review link or Place ID, so we can program your card.
• Basic technical data — like anonymous usage limits for our AI tools and chat, to prevent abuse.

How we use it

• To produce, program, test and ship your order.
• To contact you about your order or reply to your enquiries.
• To operate, protect and improve the website.

Who we share it with

We only share what’s necessary with the services that help us run TapToRate — for example a payment provider to take payment and a delivery carrier to ship your order. We don’t sell your personal information.

Some website features use third-party AI services to generate designs and power the chat assistant. Only the information needed for those features is sent, and we don’t send your payment details.

Some of these providers are based overseas (including in the United States), so your information may be stored or processed outside Australia. We only use reputable providers and share the minimum needed to run our service.

Cookies

We use small cookies to keep the site working — for example remembering an anonymous visitor ID so our usage limits work. We don’t use them to build advertising profiles.

Data retention

We keep order information for as long as we need it to fulfil the order and meet our legal and tax obligations, then dispose of it securely.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Under the Australian Privacy Principles we’ll respond within a reasonable time. Contact us via the contact page.

If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first and we’ll do our best to resolve it. You can also raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service can be completely secure. Please keep any order links private, as they can be used to view that order.
